  • Illegally repressed and rehabilitated nationals;
  • Participants of military operations equated to veterans of the Great Patriotic War of the Russian Federation;
  • Compulsory-duty servicemen of the Russian Federation;
  • Museum employees of the Russian Federation and of the International Council of Museums (ICOM); members of the Association of Art Historians of the Russian Federation;
  • Full-time students of art and architecture institutions of higher education of the Russian Federation, and of the CIS countries; faculty of higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation, and of the CIS countries, specializing in the field of architecture (including foreign students of similar higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation);
  • Interpreter guides accredited by the Association of Interpreter Guides and Tour Managers of the Russian Federation accompanying groups of tourists;
  • Persons accompanying a visitor with disabilities;
  • Members of the press (must present press pass).

Free admission for particular categories on certain days

  • The first Sunday of every month — members of multiple-children households (subparagraph "B", paragraph 1 of Decree No. 431 of the President of the Russian Federation dated May 5, 1992 "On Measures for Social Support of Multiple-Children Huseholds"; paragraph 4, part 2, Article 29 of Moscow legislature No. 60 dated November 23, 2005 "On Social Support for Families with Children in the City of Moscow");
  • The second Sunday of every month — persons under 18 years of age; persons studying under basic professional educational programs: students of colleges, higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation (including post-graduate students, adjuncts, residents, assistant-interns) all persons attending any form of educational institution regardless of its status.
